The Legendary T-Rex in concert at Bucharest
The site t-rex.co.uk announces several dates of the tour "Marc Bolan Commemorative", which marks 30 years from the death of the singer of T-Rex, famous in the 70's thanks to hits like: "Get It On", "Children of the Revolution", "Hot Love", "Metal Guru" or "20th Century Boy".
In the list of the concerts from 2008 appears also Bucharest, the date announced on the site of the band is 16th february. T-Rex are known as Tyrannosaurus Rex, occasional spell T-Rex. The band was founded by Marc Bolan in august 1967 and performed just once as a four-piece rock band in Covent Garden, London, before immediately breaking up.
Bolan retained the services of percussionist Steve Peregrin Took and the duo began producing music with folk influence.
After the disappearance of Mickey Finn, in 2003, the band is being lead by Paul Fenton (in the present), the drummer walked in T-Rex in the year 1973.
The fans will be able to hear the classic repertory of T-Rex, sang in the composition: Rob Benson(voice), Paul Fenton(drums), Dave Major, Graham Oliver(the founder of the band Saxon), Tony Allday(a guitar player that played beside Ronnie Wood and Georgie Fame) and Terri Sullivan (the cousin of Chris Norman).
